But it's never boring.

Cheers..........kandt

When you notice things like the fact that this guy is posting in Bedlam yet he has only posted 126 times.

I thought you needed 500 posts to get in ?

It used to be by invite. Some who had been members from very early but don't post much were also let in.

Bugger, I just did.

Bugger, I just did.

Me too- besides, thought this was the "Thought for the day" thread...

regardless, I really have nothing to add to either topic. As you were then :o

" You Know When You Have Been On ThaiVisa too long"

When you realise that you haven't seen your wife for 3 days and you discover her laying unconscious in the kitchen.

Or, when your wife is packing her belongings in a taxi and she's shouting something about "You love your computer too much. Same same it your Mia Noi".

Or, when the taxi is driving off and your wife looks out the rear window at you and you see a pitiful look in her eyes as though to say "Thanks for 15 happy years of marriage but you just don't love me anymore. Where's the Gazza I used to love and adore?".

Or, when you think it's great to be single again and reach for the mobile to call your girlfriend to come and stay with you, but first, you've got some new postings to catch up on.

:o

Just thought of another reason... You know the code for all the smilies and don't even bother clicking on the *show all* smilies button, cos it takes longer than just typing in the code yourself.

:o

Now that is just sad Kayo :D:D:D:D And yes i had to use the show all button. :o

Believe it or not, but internet board addictions is a real problem.

In one giant board (5000 members online at anytime of the day) where I used to post, there were a lot of trolling and real life dramas. A few anonymous members met and got married. One flew to London from the US just to meet one poster. Some would throw parties and pay for tickets.

Some committed suicide because of their addiction and poor social skills, posting about it only a few days before. Some have been stalked in RL by a few online nutters. Many lost their wife, jobs and friends over their online addiction, often confusing their troll personalities with their RL personalities.

Don't think this can't happen because it does.

Shit, that's worrying.

When I started on this my troll personality was nothing like my RL one. :o

OK, one day at a time, I can quit this terrible affliction. :D
