Dear valued passenger

Please kindly be informed that Nok Air announces that it will be operating out of Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK) during the current flood crisis in Bangkok, while Don Mueang Airport (DMK) is closed from 25 October 2011.

Nok Air will start operations in and out Suvarnabhumi Airport from 27 October – 10 November 2011. Flights will be operated to 9 destinations which are Chiang Mai, Phitsanulok, Udon Thani, Ubon Ratchathani, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Trang, Phuket and Hat Yai with Boeing 737-400.

Nok Air passengers who receive traveling confirmation from Nok Air will be able to check-in at row D, 4th Floor, Suvarnabhumi Airport. Nok Air is sincerely sorry for the inconvenience. For more information please visit www.nokair.com

Remarks

Please kindly be informed that we would have baggage allowance and pets carrier limitation. For your convenience, we suggest that passenger shall have only carry-on baggage for your journey.

When I tried to book a flight into BKK later this week and a return in mid November it could not be done - 2 different airports now expected for the out and in journeys.

Maybe they will sort this soon or we just have to put up with booking single journeys - I don't think it makes it any more expensive just a bit of an inconvenience.

Purpose to inform, not to moan :rolleyes:

I should have added that there is some kind of exhortation on the web site not to bring baggage for checking into he hold for these revised flights(ie 7kg cabin baggage only). Maybe that was just for the Ubon flights that I was looking at. That makes them not a whole lot of use to me.
