Finlaco
Hi I have a two month TV. Am I correct in saying that I dont have to wait until the last day of the visa in order to maximise the 30 day extension? Example visa expires Nov 1 Visit Immigration Oct 24 and visa extended from Nov 1+30 days and not extended from Oct 24+30 days Also is the cost still 1,900? Thanks
wayned
It sounds like you have a single entry tourist visa. The visa should contain two dates, the issue date and an "enter before date".. You obviously have already entered Thailand so the visa is used and the dates no longer mean anything. When you entered you were given 60 days and they stamped your passport. The stamp has a date " must leave by" date on it.. You can go to immigration before that date and extend your stay for an additional 30 days. The cost is 1900 baht. The 30 days will start from the "must leave by date " on the stamp.
