When I was young my mother would make use of left over pie dough to make cinnamin rolls like below. In my case, I just buy pie dough mix and use it.

Just kneed the dough into a ball as you would for making a pie. Spread flour on the table to keep it from sticking and roll it out with a roller. In my case I had none and used a large round drinking glass to roll it out into a sheet.

Brush melted butter over it with a pastry brush, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamin powder. Cut into strips than disect the strips into smaller pieces about 10 cm long than roll the slice up into a tube. Place on baking sheet and brush the tops with any remaining melted butter and stick in an over that is preheated to 225C and bake for 10-15 minutes until golden brown.

Just looked on the net for similar and found the same method on Cooks.com

Makes for a tasty snack with milk. :D
