My Computer Is Hijacked By Double Click-Can'T Access It Forum

Featured Replies

I know this should be in the It forum but I can't access it. Starting last night while using ThaiVisa,my computer got hi-jacked by this double click website. I can pull up the first page of any website. AS soon as I click on a topic of (say forum of Thai visa OR other websites now), this double click switches to their page. How do you stop this? I am trying to re-book a place to stay out of the flooding in my area and i can't get away from double click. I have a mac.

not sure about apple mac but you could try safe mode then system restore to the last point when everything was fine.

Depending on which version of OS X you are using, you could try the following, but there might be some slight differences.

If you are using Safari browser... Click on Safari (top left of screen) > Preferences > Privacy > Remove all website data.

You might also want to do Safari >Empty Cache, and Safari > Reset Safari.

For Firefox or earlier version, I copied this from the net:

Delete Cookies in Safari on Mac

* Open the ‘Safari’ menu in the upper left

* Click on ‘Preferences’

* Click the ‘Security’ tab with the lock icon

* Click ‘Show Cookies’ button

* Now click “Remove All” and ‘Done’

* Your cookies have been deleted in Safari!

Delete Cookies in Firefox on Mac

* Click on the ‘Firefox’ menu

* Navigate down to ‘Preferences’ and click

* Click on ‘Privacy’

* Click ‘Show Cookies’ or ‘Remove Individual Cookies’ button, depending on Firefox version

* Click ‘Remove All Cookies’

* Now your cookies are deleted in Firefox!

You might also want to Google "How to clear LSO cookies on a Mac. Hope this helps
