How many lakes are in Surin? I look for maps detailing the rivers and lakes around Surin and have never found much of anything. I figured I would find out when I get there in 3 weeks.

There are different government entities in Thailand that deal with water resources. When you visit Thailand next time use the info below. Then pay them a visit. Best resources for you are in Bkk. Printout the info below and folks there can direct traffic for what is where and where locally you can see the real thing.

They deal with irrigation - rivers, tributary, all the man-made canals for irrigation, etc.

The "Stonehenge Of Thailand", i found it by accident! Anyone else been here? (It's in Chaiyaphum just north of Tadton waterfalls).

oh, more badlands. the only ones i went too wasn't in Isan. they were in Phrae and Nan. the one in Phrae is called Phae Meuang Phi and the one in Nan is called Sao Din

Nice pics here guys, more anytime, Love tha Iron Buffalo, saw many of those bad boy on the roads on a visit to Isan(Ubon)(Yasothorn). Yep that old Iron Buffalo pollute the air somewhat, but don't leave a mess on the road way and the foot paths. :D:D:) Thanks for all the pics> Enjoyable!! :D:D:D
