Sadly, a lot of the negativity here is not just about Thai woman but about Thai's in general, much of it delivered by people who are negative about the residents of their own country also - consider the messenger is appropriate in most cases.

Have seen and heard of too many guys losing their homes, automobiles and the majority of their assets (presumably in some cases) to local lasses, often in their relatively senior years... it's kind of unfair to think that they shouldn't have a right to be a little negative. I give these guys FULL credit (okay, I give partial credit to Thai laws for making firearms a little harder to acquire for foreigners... also the high price of ammo) for not going on Killeen Luby's style rampages.

No kidding, but it's sometimes human nature to not feel that way towards your 'mate' and in many cases the mother of one's children. All too often these guys want to blame the woman's family, society, and even the political system before they'll blame the woman or themselves.

You are dead right ,while i have said a hundred times on here that bar girls can be great fun and some marry and have happy lives with their western husband ,if you were at home in Britain would you go looking for a wife in a brothel ? because make no mistake ,no matter how you tart it up(sorry about the pun) these girls are prostitutes and their aim is to get as much money for as little work as possible(no problem with that) so if your of a certain age and you really think that some 20 something has fallen in love with your dashing good looks then you are sadly mistaken,so when the go off with all your wordly goods dont complain ,which unfortunatly most of you do on here

Id probably look the same as after a heavy session of lifting. Dripping sweat. But that is now what i mean. I mean the picture is unclear and might make you look like something you are not.

But i was dead serious about what i said. I also explained it that its the size of your image. Maybe if you crop it a bit so its bigger details will be clearer. Right now it just looks bad and probably not what you are.

No but you obviously tried to get a message across with your AV and i saw blonde / white hair because of the reflection of light.

What i meant with cropping.. was taking some of the surroundings out so you stayed in that pic with your friend but clearer and bigger. Its not rocket science. I just gave you some pointers and i was by no way flaming you.

On your post.. if you live here longer you will see more bad things. As you live here short (say 1-3) years your still in your honeymoon period. Things will change i love it here but i don't close my eyes to the shit that happens here either.

i'm not blind to the bad things in the region, it does not take 1 to 3 years really.

about a few months should do it.

but time should not blind people to the good either.

what does shock me more is the state of many of the expats.

expats please dont get offended as it is not pointed at all, but many are a dam_n drunken mess, with very little respect for themselves or anyone around them.

some however are fantastic, but these seem to be few and far between.

nothing worse then the drunk who will not let go of your hand telling you what a good man you are,
