What Kind Of Birds Are They?

Featured Replies

hi

i got these birds yesterday and would like to know what specie they are.

It's one male and one female, is the green one the male?

The green one also have a ring around its foot, does that mean it's wild caught?

Thanks in advance

They are love birds. They are African so won't be wild caught, at least not in Thailand.

They need to be kept in pairs, hence the name.

i think also that these are love birds or personatas... ringed just means that wherever he was bred, the breeder marked him (if they are hand raised u can check the ring and see a date, words whatever)...

but there are some bird people here that could id them f or you better cause some conures look like that also. lovebirds and personatas are very easy to breed and raise in captivity; they also, unfortunately survive almost every wehre that is a bit warm if escaped from captivity and can be a pest.

peach faced love birds, captive breed.
