Uk 6 Month Tourist Multi Visit Visa

Featured Replies

hI ALL,MY G/F HAS RECENTLY VISITED ME IN THE UK,SHE STAYED FOR 1 MONTH,THEN RETURNED TO THAILAND........,,SHE WAS GRANTED A 6 MONTH VIST VISA,,,MULTI ,,,,DOES THIS MEAN SHE CAN ,VISIT ME AGAIN BEFORE THE VISA RUNS OUT IN MARCH?............THANKS, FOOMANCHU.........

Yes, muti entry means that she can use the visa to enter the UK as often as she wishes, provided she leaves the UK for the final time on or before the expiry date.

N.B.

Please do not post all in capitals, it is the internet equivalent of shouting.

Thanks and sorry about the capitals, didn,t mean to shout,,,,foo

Without wishing to rain on you parade bear in mind that whilst your girlfriend has a visa it doesn't give her automatic entry into the UK. She may still have to convince an IO at the border that it's a genuine visit and that she will comply with the requirements of her visa.

That said, given that she has already demonstrated that she has returned after a visit she should be ok and probably will not get any difficult questions. Just prey that the IO that gave my girlfriend a hard time on the way back from a side trip to Paris hasn't been transferred to your girlfriends arrival port.
