was speaking to friend of mine yesterday and he got busted by cops for smoking pot on the beach two nights ago. he says that he was rolling one up and a thai guys comes to sit with him, asking if he minds if he joins him...... he says ok..... then they thai guys goes off and says wont be a minute.........

2 minutes later the guy returns with three others. 3 are plain clothes cops and 1 in uniform.....

sounds like a small unit sent out to bust people for that very crime

cost him 26,000B

tell your hippy friends to beware

Serves himself right . . . Tell him to show some respect for the country he is visiting . . . Or better still - tell him to not bother coming back . . .

26,000bht an expensive joint and he didnt get to smoke it.

Sure there are a lot of pot smokers here just like anywhere but if you must indulge do it in cambodia! The red fox bar is a popular spot where the staff actually sell it , nothing sly they spend the whole time rolling joints and expats sit at the bar and smoke it.

Well that seems to be the general problem with people that come here, especially the British... they think they are immune from law and do whatever they please.

Pretty stupid to sit in the open and roll a spliff, does he think he's invisible? Does he think no one is going to care that he is getting high when there are children around and the smoke travels?

Dealers shouldn't sell to people like this, it's how they get busted.
