You can not obtain an extension unless you get married in the next week or so. With a ticket out within 7 days up to 7 days can be obtained but you do not have that. You should cross land border to another country and return for a new 15 day visa exempt entry (once or twice) or fly out/return for 30 days again (15 days may not be enough).

Yep.

As said 15 days at a land border or 30 days at the airport.

Next time get a double entry Tourist Visa in Canada.

Each entry can be extended at immigration by 30 days.

You still might need a border run at the end.

A double entry Tourist Visa in your own country should take less than a week.

Hopefully a Canadian will chip in.

Or look at a web site of a Consulate in Canada.

Where do you plan to get such a visa? In local area, when even available, they will likely only be valid for three months from day of issue. They normally take the same time to issue as any visa (often next day). In Canada it may be valid for six months from date of issue which means last entry must be made before that date (the visa only allows a 60 day stay that can be extended 30 days.

if you arrived on 7th December you have got a stamp til 5th Jan only.

A 15day border run will give you 15days, up to 19th Jan.

This would leave you in a overstay situation if you fly back on the 23rd Jan.

If you plan to travel by air and return via international airport that would give you 30days, problem solved.

Kinda hard to go to Macau by land!

Yes, why don't you explore internal holiday border crossings and do a couple of land runs with your GF a good way to see the country and the opportunity to get to know her away from the home environment. (Note that Lopburi 3 said once or twice I covered this by saying a couple it will depend on what day you exit and return please check the new exit dates for your own sake).

Posters much more versed in visas can provide advice on possible trips and the length of visas that you will obtain.

I think I read that the Thai Consulate in Savannakhet, Laos are amenable to a double-entry Tourist visa these days BUT PLEASE VERIFY FIRST.

So the OP takes his good woman along for that trip*, gets the double-entry visa and uses one entry to re-enter in January and then uses the 2nd entry in March where he can extend internally just before it's "sell-by" date comes up. Saves faffing about with a Thai Consulate in Canada.

* If she doesn't have a passport, it can be had fairly quickly in 5-7 days. Or, as a Thai and as long as she has her Thai ID card, she can get a 'pass' to make the short visit to accompany the OP.
