Pattaya plans beachfront public toilets

Pattaya plans to install public toilets along its beachfront.

At a Dec. 14 Pattaya City Council meeting, Mayor Itthiphol Kunplome said the city does not have an adequate number of public restrooms to serve its five million visitors a year, many of whom spend the day outside on the beach or playing sports.

I can see this being popular with a number of the beach road denizens.

Will they be open 24/7?

Will there be a usage fee?

The more toilets there are the more ladies will be employed sitting outside charging 5 Baht a time for you to go in.

Hope they don't flush into the sea and ruin a good beach.

Seems appropriate this. I sense a new scam in the making - forget the jetskis, you plugged the toilet, no smoking in the toilet, you must show your pp before using the toilet......
