Lookiing For A Used Bicycle And A Sign Shop

Featured Replies

I want to buy a used bicycle, about 2000 baht. I also need to find a shop that makes the vinyl signs on iron posts around town with laser capacity. Thought I would post together to conserve precious forum space. If you know the answer to one but not the other please do not feel constrained in your response posting reflex. Thanks.

air port mall 3rd or 4th floor sign shop

re: used bicycles.......

find a CM map, look NE of the old city and see where the river goes under the RAMA IX Bridge, East of the bridge this street is called Doi Saket Rd. [or on some maps , still Rattanakosin Rd..... Go east from the bridge and about a hundred meters before you get to the end [creamatorium at the T junction end, really is the end] you will see a used bicycle place on your left , with what seems to be hundreds of bicycles. Have sent several folks there and seem to be able to find what they are looking for and happy about the neg, price. Just before the new football field.

Good luck

For signs try Soi Phong Suwan, off Chang Puek Road, on the left immediately before the Mecure Hotel when heading North (Siam Comm Bank on corner). At least two large sign shops together there on right hand side about 50M into the Soi (kinda opposite the old Chedi)

can buy a new one for 2000 at Big C

I've checked out some of the used bike shops and found them very expensive (seen some in pretty poor shape for the same price as they are new) for bikes that were not in very good shape, they might look ok but doubt they'd work too long w/o repairs. I found that when looking at refurbished bike most did not even have lube on the chains, a sign to me that they really weren't even tuned up correctly. Depending on your needs a inexpensive new one might be a better idea or at least be sure to take a good test drive. Aslo you could try to post on the Thai Visa Bicycle forum but remember it's a national forum.
