Gatorade
Seems the Low pressure area down South is going to move up almost overhead Samui this weekend. Monday is forecast around 4M waves and S. winds up to 53 Knots with heavy rain. Checked with Wind Guru and Passage weather and they both say the same thing. I'm not taking any chances and going to move my boat out of the water!
limbos
Probably a smart thing to do. Can't remember ever seeing that purple/blue-ish color on Windguru before. Must be some serious wind and rain coming this way this coming Sunday and Monday.

jamesbrock
Well, it was rough enough on the catamaran from Mae Nam to Ko Tao yesterday that they were handing out sick bags; more than a few were used too! Not surprisingly, there was not one beer sold for the entire crossing... We just had about an hour of fairly steady rain, and the sky's coming dark again... Eric1949
Well it's been raining non stop now for at least 15 hours in Lamai Valley. Flooded roads etc. Maybe windguru should have left their original predictions made earlier last week. After all, let's face it, it is just a prediction. samuijimmy
Maenam area, the rain is getting heavier, but no signs of flooding around me yet... rain seems to be coming and going... but looking like it has set in for a while ... Based on all the forecasts, it was supposed to be getting better... Have someone arriving from great white north, this afternoon, I promised it was getting better! oh dear!
