P76 Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 (edited) When visiting the mother in law in Thailand, my wife and I want to be more comfortable. Bigger room, ensuite, air con, lounge, fridge in room etc, like a hotel room. Cant see an easy way to add a room to this house. So are thinking of a free standing bungalow type set up. Basically concrete slab and rendered breeze block. There is plenty of room to build. Looking for any ideas, suggestions and expieriences. ballbreaker Posted January 16, 2012 Share Posted January 16, 2012 My wife and I did the exact same thing many years ago before making the move to Thailand. It was just a basic hotel room type place we used serveral times a year. It was built on slab and measured 16ft X 20ft plus attached bathroom.
