Daihatsu In Thailand?

Featured Replies

I was looking for a Daihatsu Hijet for my business. I was told that Daihatsu had pullout of Thailand. Today I saw a 2011 Hijet drive by me here in Phuket.

Does anyone know if Daihatsu is still manufactures or has dealership in Thailand? If so, do you have any contact info?

....and Yes, I have Googled but no luck.

Thanks.

I know where to buy used HiJet engines. I think the cheapo Chinese trucks may have killed the market?

HiJets may still be used for Tuk Tuks that would be the best angle to use. Why not ask a Phuket Tuk Tuk driver? Lord knows they sit around all day doing nothing.

Daihatsu pulled out of the Thai market back in 1998 - you're only hope now would be in the gray or used market.
