Bamboo Curtains....soo Expensive!

Any help is much appreciated. I'm redecorating my house, and I need 19 window treatments. I want the bamboo roman blind type. You can buy them in HomePro and Index living Mall...probably other places...but they are sooo expensive. I need a lot of 1 meter x 2.4 meter sizes....and that works out to be (in these retail shops) 3,000 baht each. The materials cannot cost anywhere near this amount. Does anyone know anyplace that makes these to order for a cheaper cost in the Bangkok area?

This is what they look like

Thanks for the help!

Thanks Bambi.  I am going to check that out tomorrow.  Any other leads out there?

Just a thought and may require going outside of Bangkok. If they are made in Thailand and you can find out where the factory is maybe you can get them there cheaper.

Look at the packaging of the ones you require at the shop where they sell them too expensive. You will see a sticker that shows you the source or manufactory. Mostly they have a phone number too. Maybe that helps. I do it that way with many products of which I think are over-prized. Tell the factory that you require these products as samples for exporting. You will get the cheapest price.

JJ ZoneC Soi5 shop 18 (made to order, takes a week, they install)

Order in quantity and you should get them for 600 to 650 per square meter (colour stain) Plain should be cheaper. They have style samples. Only open on the weekend.

I used them. They were well made, on time and well installed.

If you are good at haggling you'll get up to 25% discount on above price
