Yep, or try mai pen rai Kon Lao when she's calmed down. I once got called a kwai by a copper for unintentionally jumping a red light on the treader (according to buddy who remained at lights)... but that was fair enough I guess.

In general, though, that type of talk is not good in this neck of da woods when one is not joking.

My ex wife used to called me Gorilla (silver back variety) for various reasons. As the relationship deteriorated, this moved to "sh!t mouth". Would have been quite happy to be called a buffalo.

....and all this over the humble kwai.

Easy temperment and [usually] disposition. Love to soak in the water. Not too troublesome. Keeps your grass down.

And they're not as dullard as the long-tried reference might suggest.

Someone asked in another post a while ago why Thais react so much to 'stupid', they probabaly relate it kwai
