I'm sure that all of these questions have been asked before but I find the search function on the forum to be confusing. If you could help I would be grateful.

Documents to be submitted

1. Application form TM.7 (application must be made in person)

2. Copy of applicant’s passport

3. Photo 4 x 6 cm. (not older than 6 months)

4. Application fee 1,900 Baht

1. How soon before my 'Admitted until' date can I extend? (Expires 13 Feb)

2. On the TM.7 it asks for a reason for extension, is 'TOURISM' enough or do I need to be more specific about what/where I'm touring?

3. I'm in Bangkok, is this where I need to go?

4. Do I need to copy all pages of my passport?

5. I will have a flight out of the country before the extension period ends. Will this be required when I apply?

For No.3 I should have noted that I'm currently in Minburi if there is somewhere closer I can extend.

1. You are talking about 30 day extension? At least a week will be OK - likely more - extension starts from current permitted to stay date.

2. That will be fine.

3. Yes - end of soi and to entry at middle of South side (turn right and half way down).

4. Data, visa, permitted to stay and arrival card.

5. Not likely but good to have.

1 Within the last 30 days of the current permission to stay. You can go now. The 30 days will be added to the end of the current expiration so you don't lose days by applying now.

2 "Tourism" is fine.

3 Any immigration office is okay. It is expected that most tourists are traveling around with no fixed address.

4 Photo page, entry and visa stamp pages and maybe the departure card.

5 A copy of flight out may not be required, but wouldn't hurt.

It's a tourist visa. 7 days is on a visa exempt.
