Never had any idea that this would go so far or that people would think it could be illegal or against Thaivisa rules! Your right expatmakmak, he does seem like a mod wanna be!

So just out of interest, how many of you would give it a go?

swimming is good exercise for you so if you want try it.i will support from the sides and dave will have his camera ready

Well im sure you know best, it must be perfectly legal and those 'no swimming' signs put up by the tooth fairy.

But to be serious it is a foolish endeavour, unhealthy and dangerous and, in my opinion, encouraging farang to do it is unwise and shows us in a bad light. Kids are a completely different matter and they are given freedom to be foolish on occasion although, if was my kid, I would not want them to end up in ICU.
