greenwanderer108
Does it charge by pedal power or do you have to plug it in? What if it runs down or rains? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> well, primary drive system is pedal and secondary is electric motor. Though the power pack (two 12 volt lead acid batteries in series) could be modified to be charged from pedal, solar, and/or wind power, I am not yet to that level/capability just yet...Just getting it together to run. So for the moment, the power pack needs to be recharged via outlet (220 VAC) and before call me a hipocrit, do realize that the largest percentage of Thailand's locally proudced energy is natural gas. (Nearly 40 percent, while more than 40 percent is bought from other countries) While natural gas is still a fossil fuel, it's cleaner and more abundant if I'm not mistaken. Anyway, it looks like the trend in renewable energy sources will prevail i.e. geothermal, solar, wind, hydro, etc. Thailand energy--->EGAT
