That second part there was a bit hard to understand, can you add a bit more details? what do you mean by 'rather than having the "second circuit" wire run from the meter to the mainboard inside the house? what is your current setup right? PEA/MEA meter -> 30 meters run -> House main (mainboard) normally you just connect from Main inside the house. keep in mind, 30m is a long run and you can have voltage drops (voltage drop is a weakening of the voltage when the cables are too long and not sufficient) happy to help if you can give more details. Also the BYD approved installed are electrical engineers, they will certainly give you a decent advice, but be careful for any trap for making you pay more like more wires needed, new ground needed, etc.
