Just been informed by staff that power will be off in the Chaweng area tomorrow 07/03/12 from 9am to 5pm. Electricity authority also confirms this.

It's a Buddha day. Let's all take a break and save some juice at the same time.

(Already the Burmese workers in the compound behind my house are howling karaoke . . . guess it'll go all quiet round 9 am . . .)
