I have been on an education visa for one year and a half. This visa is quite convenient as I only have to go to the immigration office every 6 months. But it is quite annoying to ask for a re-entry permit every time I want to leave thailand, and I feel like I am getting nowhere with the thai lessons. I have tremendous difficulties to remember any vocabulary and I'm not motivated anymore. It's quite expensive, especially if I don't go to school.

A one year multiple entry visa would fit my needs better, and it seems the business visa is the easiest to get. I don't plan to work or apply for a work permit.

Looking at the requirements from my countrie's ambassy, I need

- letter from the company precising my professional mission and length of business in thailand, or invitation letter from thai company

- different papers about said company

It seems like anyone in any company could provide me such documents.

Can I ask a friend working in a legitimate company in europe to write me a letter saying my mission in thailand for the next year is to look for new business opportunities or some other adequate bullshit?

Is it better to ask a thai company for an invitation letter? I would guess that the numerous lawyers office that have a visa sign in front are there for. What would be a correct price for those letters?

Is it possible to repeat the process every 15 months without problem?

Thank you for your answer, I searched thaivisa but could not find enough info, seems like too many people are using business visa to actually work or conduct business in thailand.
