There's also a second hand and recycling place near the Nong Hoi intersection. If you come from Holiday Inn going towards the intersection on the Saraphi Rd (with the big trees on both sides), it's on your left hand side just before you reach the intersection.

Lots of Thai families in the zero to low income bracket round my way, who would be glad of some furniture if it's in serviceable condition. There's a nice young couple a stone's throw from my house the wife used to work for my gf before she left to have her baby. If it's stuff they could use I'd be happy to donate them the price of hiring a truck to pick it up... If you like, you can pm me a list and I can ask them if they want it...

Otherwise if it's unserviceable/scrap, there's lots of people who will be happy to take it off your hands for recycling...
