Hdmi Splitter Roi-Et

Featured Replies

I am going to the big city tomorrow (roi-et is the big city to me), and want to buy an hdmi splitter. Does anybody know where I can get this kind of gizzmo in Roi-et? Do you think they will stock them in computer shops? or should i just be looking at electrical stores.

Cheers

Over 100 views and no replies. I'm not holding out a lot of hope of finding a splitter or switcher now.violin.gif

HDMI spliter is not a simple thing like a TV splitter. When I was looking for such a year ago I found a good selection of such boxes at Newegg in the USA. They appear more like the typical TV set-top box and cost US$ 50 and up. Maybe better now but finding one may be a real treasure hunt. Good luck.

Also, your query seems to be 'area specific' - i.e. Roi-Et.

Of the 100+ who have looked at this posting I doubt any of them have a clue as to where you would get one and probably, most of them don't even know where Roi-Et is!

This may be better posted in the Isaan forum for such replies.

HDMI splitters are quite technical items, usually coming from a shop that specialises in TV components and connections.

A computer shop may have some, but it will have to carry a wide range of products.

An electrical shop is unlikely to carry them.

Here in Chiang Mai I could point you in a possible direction, but it's twenty years since I was in Roi-Et - no computer shops there in those prehistoric days.

Check google and buy off the internet (Amazon, or a Thai supplier, etc.) may be your best bet, or a trip to Bangkok (heaven forfend).

I think you are right. I went to Mahasarakham to find one. I actually need a splitter and a switcher, so it is even less likely. The splitter I found in a computer shop, but I need the switcher first, so I will order one off amazon. Thanks for the reply and you are right it may have been too area specific but I wanted to get one ASAP so wanted somewhere close.

They are available here in Thailand, but who knows about Roi-Et ! I purchased one here in Pattaya at one of the shops in TUKCOM much cheaper than this one available via mail order here:

Yeap that is very expensive, I have seen them as cheap as 12 dollars on the net (probably wouldn't buy that though)
