Popular Post GentlemanJim
Why don't all we Thaksin haters on TV all go and meet up in Laos and clap and cheer and get absolutely pissed for 3 days on his tab, telling him we miss him, and then all come back suitably the worse for wear. What a great venue for a TV reunion. Big t_shirts saying we love Thaksin, nice name badges and all that free beer!! Hows about it? I will mail him telling him his Thai Farang Fan club wants to meet him and celebrate with him

I was wondering whether or not to join the UDD merit-making ceremony and activities on the April 10. Especially if they change from commemorate the "deaths of fellow red shirts killed" to "death of all including Japanese reporter and a handfull of Army personel". I'm sure walking amongst them in pink or green I'd be tolerated (10th = Tuesday, color = pink). Edited March 16, 2012 by rubl

I'm not working but on-call, I'd have to get a re-entry permit, I haven't been out of Thailand since April 2002, I planned other things, my wife's from Bangkok so get wet with family here. samran
So the average IQ's of both Thailand and Laos will rise temporarily over Songkran as red-shirts followers cross the friendship bridge.

KKK
Dear Prathet Laos, Please contain Khun Taksin on his arrival to your country and poste haste send him to Thailand where he is a wanted fugitive and has been avoiding a 2 year jail sentance. We hope this will not spoil your Songkran festivites too much but we really need him back here in jail to show the people of Thailand that corruption WILL NOT be tolerated. Should you allow him to stay in your illustrious country we can only come to the conclusion that you too are a corrupt nation.

Greetings from Prathet Lao, We don't like gettting caught between a rock (China) and a hard place (his sister is your PM, if you remember). Please sort this out yourselves. We need to continue to visit Thailand to do our weekly shopping and our banana farms/casinos must continue to operate. Thank you.

tlansford
Anyone interested in forming a group to kidnap Thaksin in Laos and asking for ransom. See how much we can get for him..... if they don't pay enough....we can bring him over the Mekong River at night and deliver him to his sister's authorities and see what she will do with him....after all there is a warrant for his arrest. The Israelis can catch anyone they want in another country, but they Thais cannot get him in Laos....? And you are surprised? One of the country's MPs just visited the fugitive criminal to have his daughter blessed by the moron. What does that tell you about those who govern Thailand? Yeah, that's right, or even those who governed Thailand... Abhisit fought like hell for 2 1/2 years and couldn't bring him to justice.... Clearly the man is "invincible". You mean to try to keep the Thai economy on a reasonable track even with all the distractions like an interupted ASEAN, two months mob rule escalating in torching of 'only a few' buildings and the like. IMHO the Abhisit government was more than happy not to have k. Thaksin in Thailand, but on the run outside. Searching but can't find it is a rumor of September/October 2010 that some funds had been returned to k. Thaksin in return of a terminated grenade / terror campaign in Bangkok. Doesn't sound like 'invincible', more like 'criminal'. IMHO of course.
