Calculate Overstay Fee

Well, I did search and could not find a topic that outlines the fees clearly enough. My visa expires today, the 17th of March. It will be Monday when I cross the border. Is that 1500 Baht or 1000 Baht?

500 Baht per day.

17th is last day of permitted stay (if you were to leave today there is no overstay so no fine), 18th and 19th are overstay days so it's 1000 Baht assuming you leave the country on Monday the 19th.

500 baht per day. That includes the day on which the pp expires and the day you hit the immigration post.

The day the permission to stay ends is not overstay - only the next day onward will be subject to fine.
