Two trucks involved in Central Pattaya road crash

PATTAYA:--Two men were seriously injured as a truck slammed into the rear of a slower moving 18-wheel truck on Highway 7 in Central Pattaya on Sunday Morning.

Police and rescue services responded to the crash which required the use of the “Jaws of Life” to extract the driver and passenger in the smaller Blue Isuzu Truck which was following behind the larger 18-wheel truck operated by the DHL Courier Company.

Khun Bajuap aged 40, the DHL driver explained he was driving towards South Pattaya when he felt a sharp jolt and stopped his truck immediately. Police investigated the crash at the scene and determined the driver of the blue truck had fallen asleep at the wheel momentarily and hit the rear of the DHL Truck.
