Just make sure you actually get a title book.

I'm amazed by how many foreign people i've met that have "bought" a motorbike and when they come to sell it they can't because they never got the title book (no used bike shop will touch it). So they are basically stuck looking for another foreign sucker to flog it to with no documentation.

if u have an address ,youve got no problems

(this will need to be confirmed with your embassy )

dealers wil not accept a contract from your condo manager anymore ,DLT wont accept it either

Get yourself a Thai driver's license first. It makes insurance and ownership issues a lot easier. I got mine on a tourist visa. Get a copy of your rental agreement, take that to immigration with passport, pictures etc. They will give you a "Residency Certificate" (I forget the fee) take that and you existing Photo Driver's license to the DLT and get your Thai license.
