Here'S How You Should React If Assaulted By A Thai Woman:

RUN! This is your best advice.

Why?

Because unless you have witnesses willing to corroborate your version of events (and then there's still no assurance you'll come out ahead), the charges are laid against you and only you.

By law, if 2 men/women fight, each are charged 500 baht and are left to go on their merry ways.

If a woman fights with a man and is hurt in the process, the negotiations begin...

You've been warned...

You laugh but it's not that uncommon to have a Thai female slap your face without cause in order to provoke you, it's happened to me three times in ten years, all back in my earlier years I might add; the first was in a go-go joint on Soi Cowboy, the second in a bar in Nana and the third whilst I was sat quietly reading my newspaper and minding my own business on Beach Road in Pattaya, you'll note the common theme here!

Yes, it's quite obvious that you are not married to a Thai. whistling.gif

Each time by complete strangers, the girl on Beach Road had serious mental issues and should have been in care but the other two were simply barely legal aged go-go dancers. The OP is right though, it's not right to hit a female and chances are that all h_ll would have broken loose if I/anyone had.

Ex? 'Former employee' would be the correct terminology wouldn't it?

Erm, erm ....

No one has noticed that what the OP and all posters are referring to are prostitutes or gogo bar girls ?

It is fallacious to say that Thai women are quick to resort to violence when all your examples are based on prostitution situation.

Your title is misleading,it should be "How to react when slapped by a gogobar girl"

Agree with that . And these people have only themselves to blame.

In my early days in Bangkok I used to meet friends in such places but quickly I couldn't stand the attitude of the working girls there. The abuse the customers are ready to accept from these girls is beyond me. And it also explains the horror stories from people who married bar girls. If you accept to be treated like a doormat don't be surprised to get no respect from your "partner" and her friends.

Last time I visited such a place, I was escorted back to the door and asked not to come back. A promise I was happy to keep.

Just could not help yourself could you? Slam Pattaya. No rhyme no reason only your own bare prejudice. Any sane person knows the majority of problems are in Bangkok and Phuket because of size and populations predilictions toward crime and violence. The only thing Pattaya has to excess is smiles on the faces of satisfied men.

And the prize for first anti bar girl post after 20 posts goes to Aneliene. She must be sitting at home and chuckling at all the venome that will follow. Let the parade of jealous married men and scorned women commence.

Yes, she was. That would show you care, in her mind. Walking away is perfect; it shows you don't give a $&@#.

Nah, can happen with just about any Thai female.
