Just wanted to check I have completed the online application for a tourist visa for my wife to the UK correctly

After completing the online questions the application is for a Family Visitor valid for up to 6 months

The reason in checking is that we will be visiting my family , hers now but I hope 'family ' doesnt mean her family

Family visitor visa defo, already done 2 for my missus.

You said tourist visa then family visa>>..........

Thanks for the quick reply , what I meant was that I applied for what I guess is generally termed a 6 month tourist visa but after filling in the information the printed application describes it as a famlily visa

Correct visa by the sound of it. Family visa is essentially a tourist visit visa with the right of appeal
