I'm coming back to Thailand from a short vacation in USA and i would like to bring a CO2 BB gun. I'm talking about the one which shoots pellets and not the plastic balls that you can buy in any souvenir shops in Patong... I've made a quick search and it's looks likes a bad idea carry that kind of guns on the way into Thailand so I was wondering if it could be found somewhere around Phuket. I've seen other post which some member were suggesting "Hunters" shop in Central but as far as i know I've not seen that shop since 2010.. Any idea where it is located now?

Do you know any other place which may i find that kind of gun? I've been once in Phuket town near police station in a shop which sells some self defense items including BB guns but as far as i remember it was able to shoots only plastic balls...

Any suggestion are really appreciated!

I think 'Hunters' is now located a little further along the road past Central.

Head towards Kathu, pass the furniture shops and Makro on left, pass HeadStart International School on right, then immediately after the school is a row of new shophouses - I'm sure Hunters is there.

Hunters is definitely at the location described above, about 50 metres on the patong side of Headstart school.

in the big markets behind the fish market in phuket town has them and they let you test before you buy .....

i've only ever seen BB guns in Thailand, the electric powered rifles and the gas powered hand guns with gas from a big can.

i assume these are a lot more powerful that the stuff you find here and as such, probably not legal

Do you think i can get in real trouble or they will just confiscate it?

Does anyone know where to find the CO2 cartridges? I need them for a different reason.
