Hi guys/girls,

I was just wondering if any people had experience of getting a 7 day extension without proof of a onward flight.

Me and my girlfriend are in bangkok with a 15 day visa exemption obtain from a land entry.

Our visas expire on the 11th May - My g/f has just accepted a job offer where an induction starts on the 10th and finishes on the 15th (also the day of a visa run to Loas for visa + work permit with her employers) - We don't have onward flights but are thinking about going to the immigration office in bangkok to see about an extension.

Given my g/f's situation do you think they would extend???

Also I don't have a job offer but am unsure whether or not it's worth bothering trying to extend without a job offer or onward flight. I don't particularly want to do a 15 day visa run as I planned on going to Loas at the same time as my g/f and obtaining a 60 day tourist visa to give me more time to find a job.

Any advice would be appreciated.

They seem to be willing to issue the 7 days to leave country fairly easily I believe so likely it would be available.

Thnx for the reply - went to the immigration centre in Lak Si, explained that I was due to do a visa run to Laos for Non-Imm B visa and they extended without any need for documents
