Grateful for some help and advice. My truck's tax expires Tuesday 15th May; my insurance expires 26th July. I took all my papers to the Land Transport place today and the reception people directed me to an insurance company on the premises who wanted to charge me 800 THB for some sort of cover. I don't want any more insurance. I already have it. So I declined and took my papers and left. It appears that when renewing my tax last year the Land transportation people removed the slip from my cover note. Anyone got any suggestions on what I should do to resolve this problem? This is the compulsory 3rd party insurance. Without this no tax renewal, so you really have no choice but to take it out.
