Back in the states I do lots of online purchases in sites like amazon, Walmart, target, etc. just wonder if there is any in thailand like that to shop for things like tools, CDs, small electronics, or even toy water gun.

I buy a heap of stuff on Ebay, blood pressure monitor, watches, MP3 player, batteries, flash drives etc. All arrived without any problems, although I did have to pay a small amount of duty on a couple of watches.

It really depends where you buy from. I just received a watch that was sent 6 days ago from the UK, however, I have waited a month for things from China.
