just want to share the nice experience we had on a recent daytrip to the Sunflower fields in Lopburi n discover the province.

The view of these sunflower plantation is recommended between November to January when they are in foll blossom.

You can also enjoy Lopburi City n the Pasak Jolasid Dam .

The trip is best done with own car , but with Bus from Mochit it it also possible .

It is a scenic drive to Lopburi n the sunflower plantation are appr 40-45km beyond Lopburi .

Once you reach the fields you feel engulfed by a sea of yellow sunflowers , especially the kids enjoy it n countless Thais as well.

It is a amazing sight n a delight for each photographer .

There are plenty of stalls around selling fruits , noodles , hats , clothes n Sunflower Umbrellas.

After the fields we headed to the Pasak Jolasid Dam which is very popular with local visitors . The dam is a popular place to bring a picnic n spend a relaxing afternoon adjacent to the huge expanse of water . You should visit the Museum which provides a detaild insight .

Our last destination was Lopburi City n we headed straight to the Phra Prang Sam Yod ground , where you are greeted by hundreds of monkeys , be aware of these monkeys.

They appear to be attracted by people with long hair .

Back in BKK at 8:30 PM we had enjoyed a full day excursion which we will repeat coming December again.
