If you can figure this out please don't post your reckoning..

Three brothers decide to buy a TV.

The promotion cost is 30 baht.

Each brother saves and contributes 10 Baht

three brothers = 30 Bhat

They go to buy the TV.

The Salesman salesman is a crook and says

"Hi lads this is your lucky day... the TV has been on discount.. "

he puts 2 baht in his pocket and gives each brother back one Baht.

Now each brother has paid 9 Bhat

3 brothers equal 3 times 9 Bjat = 27 baht

Plus the 2 baht in his pocket

where did the other Baht go to?

What 2 baht did he (the salesman) put in his pocket ?

and how much was the discount to begin with ?

Also, this forum dictate that everything has to be related to Thailand,

so shouldn't you at least mention that the salesman was a ladyboy ?

Did (s)he pickpocket those 2 baht ?

I don't quite understand the point of this, but I wish that I could buy a TV for 25 Baht.

Better yet, do without the bladdy tv.

Problem solved.

Edit - Just re-read the first line... "Plus the 2 baht in his pocket"... hmmmmm

What happened to the other 1 baht coin ?.... Was it dropped on the floor and not picked up in the other thread ?

So anyway, the three brothers went home quite happy with their purchase, but a little bit uncertain that they had quote come out of the transaction ahead, and each a bit suspicious of the other.

"Da, Da, we've brought the new TV."

"Well done. lads. Now, your grandmother my mother in law says she'd like to come and visit, seeing as how we've got a spare room, but I said it was full"

"Sure enough, da, but what about the empty room upstairs?"

"Aye, well, that's where you boys come in. Now there's a hundred baht each to go and fill that room, before she finds out its empty"

So the boys went off...

...

...

"Da, Da, I've bought a hundred baht worth of straw, but it only fills a third of the room"

"Da, Da, I've bought a hundred baht worth of inflated polystyrene beads, but it only half fills the room"

"Yez are all aright, I bought a ten baht candle, and the whole room's filled wi' light"

"Aye, so where's the other 90 baht?"

And now the whole family's asking after the other 90 baht....

What happened to the three ten baht coins?

How did they get into my wallet?

How did my wallet get into the ladyboys' hands? - Just a minute, the credit card's gone as well and there's only 30 baht left in it...

I think there's more to worry about than the 1 baht, that somebody's picked up by now, anyway. That 2 baht coin seemed to appear from nowhere anyway, so I think the ladyboy's ahead, even without the 1 baht, or the contents of my wallet...

... yes, Officer, I can fully understand that this is Thailand and its not that simple...

I still don't understand... ermm.gif

The TV was 25Baht

The 3 brothers paid 9 Baht each =27 Baht, 2 Baht too much which was pocketed by the salesman .

No, it's alternative math meant to confuse,

causing the quiz to be unsolvable
