I have to do a visa run by end of first week of June and want to make sure I can get back in. I have been operating from the idea that I can keep renewing my tourist visa for at least a year via visa runs. I'm from the USA.

1. I came here in Sept of last year for a week then left for 3 weeks

2. came in October on a 60 day tourist.

3. left in early Dec on a short biz trip/visa run and came in with 30 day at airport

4. left in January and came back a few days later with 60 day

5. left in March for short biz trip and came back with 60 day 3 days later.

Will I run into any problems? I want to get one more 60 day and then I'll either be working here or go to another country.

If this is a problem are there certain countries around better to do this run to? I was thinking of Myanmar simply because I wold like to check it out.

Thanks

When you fly back in you will at least get 30 days, in Laos you might get a new tourist visa. There are not many reports about Myanmar, so can't tell you about your chances there.

Well if you do not have a red stamp then the chances are very high that you will at least get single entry from Laos and more than likely a double if you want it. The crackdown was in Cambodia Laos is still pretty good I was just there last week.

Thanks, what does a red stamp look like? I assume I don't have it because the only thing in red is the date I have to leave by from the 30 day extension to the 60 day tourist visa.

Any ida how many pages do you need left in the passport? I have 4.

You need room for visa and stamps so 4 pages would be enough but you should be thinking of getting more or a new passport.
