Man caught pawning fake Gold at North Pattaya shop

PATTAYA:--A 31 year old Thai Man was arrested by Pattaya Police on Thursday, accused of attempting to pawn fake gold items at a shop in North Pattaya.

This was the second attempt to pawn fake gold at the shop in the space of only a few days after an initial pawning of fake gold on 25th May which was successful.

On Thursday, Khun Supagit aged 31, who confessed to being a friend of the man who pawned fake gold earlier in the month, made his attempt to pawn fake gold, but this time the shop owner, Khun Amnat aged 25, realized the items were fake and called the Police who came to arrest Khun Supagit who later revealed the items were initially purchased from a small market on the Tepprasit Road in Jomtien.
