Highly likely I'll be heading to Myanmar for a first visit end of June and having just returned from an India trip to Arunachal and Nagaland would like to visit the Chin area that borders India but unsure of logistics in getting there;

Are special permits for Chin and other border areas required / Closest airport for Chin / Road situation during June&July / Wise words of warning?

Any recommendation for Myanmar travel agent?

Chin is one of the under developed province. And you have to expect a worst road condition.
