Hello, I (from Western Europe) have been living for a year with my Thai wife and our children with an (migration O visa - 1 year - multiple entre) in Bangkok.

Every 90 days I had left Thailand over the Cambodian border and re-enter the country.

Now soon the 1 year visa has expired. We now want to stay another 6 months in Thailand and then we will go back again, all the way, to Europe.

I would not deposit money in a Thai bank and I have no income in Thailand. Even a trip to Europe just for the visa is not required.

What now is the best option for another 6 months to remain legally in the country?

Tourist visa for 60 Days in Cambodia and after a extension in Bangkok for 30 Days!

Or again a migration visa O - 1 year - multiple / single entre into Laos!

I live in Bangkok and all the proposed options should be reachable by train or bus!

Thank you for your help

If you do a visa run right before your Non-o expires you will get another 3 months for a total of 15 months. Depending on where you live you could do border runs for the remaining 3 months getting 15 days each border run. You could also get a tourist visa for 60 days and then extend it for 30 days at immigration giving you 90 days.

As said if your visa has not yet expired (one year from date of issue) then a new entry would get a new 90 day stay so only three extra months would be required (two of which could be a 60 day extension of stay on basis of being married - no financials required). That would only leave about one more month and depending on situation at that time a tourist visa or even several 15 day entries could be used.

If your visa has already expired it might be cost effective to obtain a new multi entry from Savannakhet - but you would still have the option to extend 60 days and after a new entry most likely a new 60 day extension would be allowed.

My (migration O visa - 1 year - multiple entre) is valid untill 2012 June 10 but the Stamp in my Passport from my last Border crossing shows I have to left the Country on 2012 June 07.

So in few Days on June 07 i can cross the Cambodian Border again (for the fourth border crossing) and I will get a new Stamp for 90 Days. Same like 3 times before when I cross the border?

I don't have to go to the Thai Consulate in Phnom Penh to extend my (migration O visa - 1 year - multiple entre) from 12 month to 15 month and I don't need any Papers on the cambodia border?

Thank you for your help

You will have to get the normal visa for entry into Cambodia but everything will be the same as before and on return you will have a new 90 day permitted to stay stamp.

Hello,

everything was as described here.

90 Days on the Cambodian Border and after 60 Days on the Immigration Office.

Thanks again

What is at this Time the simplest way to get a new Visa for the next 90 Days,

a migration visa O - 1 year - multiple / single entre into Laos or Cambodia?

Best Regards

Only Savannakhet in Laos is an option for multi entry without financials show. Be sure to have copy of wife ID card and home register and good to have a letter from her asking for visa to be issued if not with you.

Apply day 1 before noon and get it back the next work day in the afternoon.

Thanks

If I apply a multi entry Visa and maybe is rejected i lose the 5000 Baht?

Best Regards
