self skidded earlier this morning, xray and was referred to a specialist. there is a crack near my wrist, radius fracture or along that line and specialist wanted to do a surgery on itblink.png

any reliable specialist to recommend? im not overly concerned about the money involved since im covered but I had some past experiences with fractures and to be honest this doesnt hurt that bad, infact it doesnt feel anything if i keep my wrist still

would delay affect a fracture much? should i get it sort out asap or could i give a week or so and see how it goes about

I think a Dr. is the best person to answer that question......they have the xrays not TV members.

I think you'll find he only sees patients at his private clinic.

Now does surgery part time, but has excellent reputation.

I agree. He also has a surgery on the super Highway just after the Esso station on the left hand side and before the traffic lights, just before Grandview Hotel.

Excellent service and his opening hours are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday from 5 pm until 7 pm. Also Sunday mornings at 09.30 until mid-day. Best to get there 30 minutes before as it fills up quickly. He sorted out my back problem with great professionalism and caring attitude.

Good luck.

Yep the best. Very good with patient education too.

Both Drs. Suthee and Pricha are excellent, but Dr. Pricha is THE hand-wrist specialist to see in Chiang Mai. Getting two opinions, of course, is always a good idea.

So maybe one of the admins can add this address to the RECOMMENDED DOCTORS AND MEDICAL SPECIALISTS IN CHIANG MAI thread?

Not sure if he is the one I saw on the super highway. The one I saw was semi retired and recommend another doctor for arthroscopic surgery on my knee. He went on to explain to me why I should not get surgery on my foot. I had surgery done once there and the surgeon who did it and his partner both recommended no more surgery on it as long as I could take the pain. That was in Canada. The doctor I saw here explained to me why it was not a good idea and in his 40 years in the business had only seen it done once.

He was excellent for explaining things to me. The reason he recommended the other Doctor for the knee was he said he was getting to old for that fine of work.
