How To Forward Gmail With Embedded Photos

Featured Replies

A friend of mine insists on reading his gmail with the browser

When he tries to forward an e-mail with embedded photos only the header

comes through, not the photos.

What is he doing wrong?

I know it works when I use my Thunderbird client

but I don't fancy getting him to install that, he is not very computer literate

Thanks in advance

To attach photos, documents and etc. is quite easy.

When you reply to a message or send a new one. You will see the recipients e-mail address bar. Below that bar you will see another section that has some commands:

Add Cc Add Bcc Edit Subject Attach a file Insert: Invitation Canned responsescleardot.gif

You will want to select "Attach a File" and when you select it, another window will come up and ask you for the file name. If sending multiple files, then you need to keep doing this until your finished.

Then hit send.

Enjoy

He doesn't want to attach any new photos,

only forward the complete e-mail with all its photos.

Make sure you have HTML composition instead of Plain Text.

Make sure "Plain Text" is displayed in the compose tool bar under Subject.

EDIT

Or your friend must be using 'basic view' of gmail.

Look around and see if there is anything that says, "Standard View" and Click on that
