American Private School Teacher accused of sex with minors at his East Pattaya home

PATTAYA:--An American Teacher working for a private school in Rayong Province has been arrested in Pattaya, accused of sexually assaulting five boy’s under the age of 15.

Officers from the Region 2 Child and Women Protection Unit conducted a raid of a house at the Chockchai Garden 4 Estate in Soi Kao Noi on Saturday Night and arrested Mr. Gregory James Miller aged 48 from Illinois, USA, a teacher at the Garden International School.

Officers conducted the raid moments after 5 Children were seen to leave the house. Officers questioned them and one of them claimed he was paid money by Mr. Miller to conduct a sexual act with him. Officers conducted a full search of the house and report finding sexually explicit material featuring Mr. Miller with minors and seized a selection of items, including flash drives and a computer notebook along with a large amount of non-sexual toys for young children to play with.

Thanks for pointing that out. I had read the comments when this story was first posted but it seems now more info is coming to light.

I sure hope this guy is treated fairly although his career has been trashed regardless if the claims are true or false.

It would appear there is more to this story, the comments in the Pattaya One Story ring true to me. Child Molestation is one of the worst crimes there is, second to that is the deliberate false accusation of such.

sexual assault is not determined by the age of the victims. The punishment might be different depending on the victims age. Regardless of the age of consent, this lad is being "accused" of sexual assault. Of course one would expect that sufficient evidence will be presented when he gets his day in court. If not, I think he would have a good case for defamation of character since he lost his income stream over this incident.

In this particular case no...because consent is not even implied in this case, and even if it was...the children concerned are still under age...therefore they cannot consent, if the allegations are true

A guy visits his new built home on the outskirts of Pattaya........within the premises (2 meter high wall) he finds 5 boys in the age of 8-10 years........the boys don't try to escape the possible danger of the huge farang, but with his daughter as a witness oone of the boy asks the farang: "Mister, you boom-boom him.......100 baht!"

Luckily the 5 brads weren't clever enough to go the police and claim to be abused!!

If they are submitted as evidence in court then I agree with you. If however it was just a made up statement by the BIB to support their cash grab then it's a real shame. I don't know this guy from Adam. I have young kids myself and I'm strongly against the abuse (in any form) to children. If there is truly damning evidence against this guy then I hope he spends a life time behind bars. But after reading some "anonymous" comments by folks claiming to know more about this situation it seems there might be a chance that this is all a big sham to extort money from this guy.

Hmm. Reminded so far of my brother teaching "challenged" chlldren and one of them accusing him. Police came and grabbed him and was all but tarred and feathered. Fortunately in the end the sweet little girl admitted that she made it up, "because he had been mean to her".

How much <deleted> damage do any of you experts think was done regardless of conviction or not and for sure, Where there's smoke there's usually fire, except in a fried brain.
