Looking For A Big Snake

Featured Replies

Ok for those thinking this was something dodgy SORRY it is true

I really am looking for anyone with a large Pet snake preferably a Python in the 10-15 ft range although smaller sizes will be be considered :)

DK

I believe owning a Burmese or Reticulated Python is illegal here, about

10 years ago I owned a 15 ft Burmese python,it was not easy finding

suitable food for it,plus I had a young daughter ,so I decided to release

it back to the wild, took it half way to Chiang Rai and let it go in the woods.

regards Worgeordie

Maybe this should posted under my home security thread!

I've seen a big snake at Marina Bar before.

If that is the place on Loy Kroh where all the little bars are located, there is a prostitute that walks around the area with a Burmese python around her neck.

Maybe that was a katoey and that wasn’t a python, he may have been just pleased to see you?

There is a Snake show near Mai Sa waterfall. Turn left just after Mai Rim past the X centre. I am sure they would have Pythons there, and for "Farang" price they would probably let you use one, or provide one with a handler for you.

I just noticed that in dave2's photo, that the name of the bar is actually "Marina LADy Boy BAR". Do some of you perverts actually frequent an establishment like that???cheesy.gifbah.gif

you would be surprised what western women can drive men to do

For temperament reasons, recommend boa constrictor instead of python if you can find... though female boas rarely get over 12ft. , and males rarely over 9.

Since no one else has asked, I will: What is the snake for? Do you have a serious rodent problem, want to scare away the wife, planning an exotic barbecue, or something else?

You are quite right Boas are much easier handling however not native to Thailand so I thought might be harder to find so went with the Python option.

As for usage I wanted to use it as a prop for a video I am making for my business
