hi,

have current multiple o visa intend to return europe and get new multiple o and return before existing multiple ceases question will existing multiple o still stand?

You should only have one valid visa so Consulate may cancel (or may refuse to issue if a different Consulate than who issued your current visa). That said if two were valid immigration would use most current and it would not make any difference anyhow as new visa will only be valid on year from date of issue - not from end of old visa.

thanks for info

i will stretch my current visa with a trip to penang and then return to europe for

a new multiple close to 90 days as possible of my old one . I had looked at the retirement visa but with all the paper and reporting find it easier to renew each year just thought i could get 15months out of

my visa

Actually if you can meet the financials there is amost no paperwork at all. It is just filling out a TM.7, attach a 4x6cm photo and pay 1,900 baht fee for a one year extension of stay in Thailand. They only other paper is copies of passport data/visa/entry stamp and departure card and the financial proof. You might be asked for some proof of abode (as extension office is determined by that) but that will be about it. There is no medical or police report for extension.

If you have a multi O and leave the country (border run ) and enter before the last day of your visa you will get another 90 days. Look at the visa and it will have printed -enter before -Date. Go out and come back in one day or two days before that date and you will get 90 days
