bangkok blue
Has anyone had any successful experiences in getting this done? Bought the HTC explorer without realising how little internal memory it actually has! Need it rooting so I can make partition in the sd card and use that as internal memory, thus allowing me to move ALL apps over. Without the root certain apps will only stay on phones internal memory and can't move them.
cmbe
You can check this link : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1380086 and if it is not work I will try to explain another way to do it. You can also bring it to the mobile repair shops at Pantip plaza or Icon computer.

bangkok blue
Thanks, don't fancy doing it myself though. One place at Robinsons reckons he can do it, although never rooted explorer model before. He has only rooted Desire models. He said give him a day and he should be able to work it out. SIS near the golf place opposite Robinsons is apparently HTC after sales care shop. Will try there first. Most places I found only know how to root Samsung and jailbreak iphones.
