For a month now, the tide has been out in the morning, allowing a wide area of "beach" sand and sand bars to be exposed- about a football length out at sea. It has been great getting up in the morning and walking on the spacious beach - away from the compact beach chairs, vendors, and gritty,dirty sand. The "peak" of the tide seems to be around 9:30am now. It sure makes one realize how narrow the beach normally is.

Yeah. Look at the old Pattaya photos from 20 years or more ago. The darn beach looked pretty nice. Sad that the town beach is un-usable for swimming at least as far as I am concerned.

I've been taking advantage of this lately. Great for morning walks on the beach right now.

I would imagine all the beaches around 10am or so would have a very low tide. Here's the site I use for the tide tables:
