Where To Find A Juicer?

Featured Replies

Hey guys, I watched the movie "Fat, Sick and Nearly Dead"

And want to give juicing (veggies, fruits) a try, like on jointhereboot dot com.

Any suggestions where I could buy a good juicer in Chiang Mai?

That mall at the airport? Walked around there today and didn't see anything.

But I'm a newb here, only been in CM for 2 weeks.

Thanks!

Power Buy in Robinson's at Airport Plaza have loads of juicers in all price ranges.

Siam TV have them and so do Central (Kad Suan Kaew).

They're everywhere!

Baan Suan Pak
Health food store near the President Hotel have the really good non-centrifugal ones, but not cheap.

And what's the price range of these non-centrifugal expensive juicers?

I ended up getting a high powered blender from Makro. Mix some fruits with some veggies and you have a super healthy smoothie.

I bought a slow juicer for 13 k baht but the shop is no longer in Airport plaza.

On television, channel 11, I see advertisement for the Hurom juicer, same price, good quality.

When you start juicing, don't forget to take extra fiber. Konjac root is a very good source, available ready to use in every supermarket.

I purchased a Tefal French juicer at Siam TV and also ordered the attachment which is a grinder that can be used for coffee and herbs (which comes with another attachment that is a whirly bird which doesn't grind, but chops). Two weeks later after a few unresponsive phone calls, went to the store and discovered they don't import it. So returned the unused blender and was told they don't accept returns for cash refund, but for exchange only. I told the floor sales mgr that their receipt doesn't read that and therefore I want cash back. It's been a couple of more weeks and perhaps I can now recover my money since it was paid with BKK Bank Debit Card. (Tried to purchase two more items which they didn't have, plus returned with a list of 3 blenders I researched on the internet and they didn't have them either.) What I'm trying to say, ensure the blender you purchase is exactly the one you want before paying!

And what's the price range of these non-centrifugal expensive juicers?

Over 10,000 baht, but it has been a while since I priced them

A blender is different from a juicer. Part of the point of juicing is to get rid of the pulp, so that the juice goes straight into the system without being digested.

But it depletes the fiber, which is usually essential too. I guess you can eat the pulp afterwards........I guess you can just eat the fruit come to think of it, unless a condition prevents it. smile.png
